Salt Fork River Ranch In Western Oklahoma almost all of our streams go dry seasonally. Once in a while there is an exception. It so happens that near Olustee the Salt Fork of the Red River is spring fed. Due to this unique and valuable circumstance, this river never went dry during the exceptional drought years of 2011-2014! So then, it also so happens that water defines the habitat. Bottom line, if you are looking for diverse hunting opportunities (think White Tail, feral hogs, turkey, dove, and quail) this is your place. The river courses right through the property and you own both sides of the river! In fact, this property has about of a mile of river frontage and again, you own both sides! Lots of cover. Electricity nearby. Beautiful in the wilderness way. Peaceful. 4-8 people could hunt the place at the same time if they are disciplined and use some common sense.
